Hang in there Alan!
Bob Ainsworth the MP for Coventry East was appointed Secretary of State for Defence and this could have major repercussions for Alan Whitehead MP in terms of his future preferment- for Bob is the first Cabinet Minister for over 40 years to have a moustache, that designer appendage sported by Alan himself!

I think he shaved it off once he realised they are vote losers. All the Labour politicians were told that facial hair is a turn off. Apparantly people don't trust someone with facial hair. It's as if you are hiding something or hiding behind something?
I think Alan Whitehead must have the record for most pathetic and tragic ministerial career ever.
I can't believe that he will get a second chance.
I think it makes him look quite village people. It suits him. Does he own motorbike leathers too?
Is Alan Whitehead gay then? I never realised thats why he had a tache.
