For the record, here is a pic of the new Conservative group post the 2007 local elections in Southampton. Historic may be stretching it a bit but we are the first Conservative group to run the council since 1984!
As you can see, some are rather more photogenic than others!

So now the Conservatives are in charge what are they going to do to improve the lives of local people?
I see from the picture that Cllr Samuels intends to lead from the front? Or clearly not (!)
*10% Council Tax Discount for pensioner households
*Free bus passes for pensioners
*100% Council tax discount for Special constables to get more police on the beat
*No council tax rises over inflation
*Road and pavement repairs
*Tackling crime and anti social behaviour
*No gypsy transit site for Swathling
Seems to me chave that the Conservatives are going to improve the lives of local people.
So 'if' the Conservatives have properly costed their proposals can you also list what services are going to have to be cut to pay for these plans?
