Apologies for the long absence. It was due really only to the perennial IT problems at the council, the same at home and not having or perhaps not making time to update my blog. Anyway I shall make a conscious effort to update it more regularly over the next few months and thanks to those of you who kept looking!

I am a publican by trade but I tend to blog perodically about contemporary British politics particularly from the perspective (or lack of perspective) that my position as the Cabinet member for Environment & Transport in the Conservative Administration at Southmmpton City Council affords me!
